Music Director
Sandy Toms

We welcome anyone to any of our music groups at St. Luke's. There are no auditions or requirements other than semi regular attendance at rehearsals which are never lengthy. If you are interested in singing or playing in a group, please let us know.

In the interest of our shrinking world, our music program includes selected music from traditional hymns, to modern hymns, to contemporary music, to music from many other cultures. Most of our music is in four-part harmony and of easy to moderate difficulty, making it easy for everyone to join right in.

Some of the styles and genres we have embraced include: Traditional and Contemporary Christian, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Twentieth Century, spirituals, African, Jewish, American Indian, and Gospel.

We have a Carillon Choir (teen/adult), a Guitar Group, and various instrumental musicians.

v The Carillon choir rehearses once a week and sings at least once a month.

v Our Guitar Group sings and plays communion hymns and offertory numbers once in a while.

v On special occasions our many gifted and talented musicians play at our worship services.
